HKA is providing civil engineering and surveying services for the conversion of an existing commercial building to a Mexican restaurant. The project is located at 1675 Mount Vernon Avenue, in San Bernardino, California. The off-site curb ramps at the southeast corner of the intersection of Mount Vernon Avenue and 17th Street and the existing driveways to the site are required to improve to ADA compliance.

HKA staff prepared street improvement plans for the modification of the curb ramp and driveways to ADA and city standards. HKA’s scope also includes topographic survey and mapping for ADA parking and path of travel, title report review, record map and utility research, preparation of engineer’s estimate, lot merger package, and legal descriptions.
