HKA is Poised to Provide Professional Services in Support of California's Ambitious Waterfix Project

San Bernardino, California, February 11, 2019 —

In October of 2018, Hernandez Kroone and Associates, (HKA) was one of three firms in the State awarded a contract by the Delta Conveyance Design and Construction Authority (DCDCA) to provide Survey, Mapping, and Right-of-Way Engineering and Title Services for the Waterfix project. The contract is valued at $25M by the DCDCA which is a Joint Powers Authority whose member agencies are Public Water Agencies. Under the direction of the California Department of Water Resources, the DCDCA's sole purpose is to design and construct the California WaterFix. The WaterFix is an infrastructure upgrade project that will improve the reliability and sustainability of California's aging water system, improve river flows and benefit the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta (Delta) ecosystem.
