HKA professionals completed the research, surveying, and mapping of over 1,800 acres of land near and in the San Bernardino National Forest overlooking San Bernardino, CA. The Owner requested an American Land Title Association (A.L.T.A.) survey as part of their acquisition process. The ALTA was completed to the latest 2016 standards at the time.

HKA used the latest survey equipment to safely complete the field work. Trucks and all-terrain vehicles were used where possible, but the field crew climbed or walked to many of the monuments that could not be reached by vehicles.

HKA developed safety plans to find the best hiking routes and also the best way to avoid potential harm from indigenous animals in the region for future crews.

Title research resulted in over 100 exceptions, exclusions or easements. A.L.T.A mapped over 20 parcels in 6 different sections of land in Township 2 North, Range 4 West and Township 1 North, Range 4 West of the San Bernardino Base and Meridian.
