I-15 Freeway Construction Widening Victorville to Barstow
San Bernardino County, CA
The scope of this $150 million-dollar project included 30 miles of interstate freeway expansion widening and improving Interstate 15 in both southbound and northbound directions.
HKA staff provided assistance to the Resident Engineer in the following areas:

Preparation of all project documents

General correspondences and project filing in the standard uniform filing system

Prepared and maintained Weekly Statements of Working Days

Prepared Contract Change Orders, Contract Change Order Memorandums, and reviewed Change Order estimates

Processed and tracked Contract Change Orders through the District Office and issued approved Change Orders to the contractor

Coordinated construction inspectors for Extra Work Daily Report preparation and filing

Assisted in reviewing and processing payment Extra Work Bills

Prepared monthly progress reports for issue to the Federal Highway Administration representative and other communications and scheduling items.
Additionally, HKA provided field inspection for highway planting and irrigation, SWPPP inspections, and prepared daily inspection reports and daily extra work inspection reports.
