Hernandez, Kroone & Associates was the Project Manager for providing design services and construction administration for site improvements for playgrounds and the installation of playground equipment at various childcare facilities.

All childcare sites include selection and placement of prefabricated play equipment, evaluation of site size for safe zone areas and clear space, and preparation of construction bid documents and specifications that were conforming to the State of California regulations.

The projects included landscape around renovated buildings, rehabilitation of trees after construction activities in their root zones, preparation of new planting plans that included drought tolerant and native plants designed for sustainability or irrigation systems for areas disturbed by construction activities.

This project was funded by State of California grant money and required stringent cost and scheduling controls.
