Riverside County Department of Transportation is constructing a new 42.3-million-dollar interchange in Indio, CA located at Jefferson Street and I-10. Since 2014, HKA has been providing a range of services including constructability reviews of the project plans, specifications, and estimate, landscape inspections, and addressing RFI’s from the contractor. Specific project elements include highway planting and palm tree installation, high-efficiency irrigation systems, and gravel mulch installation.

In addition to complying with Caltrans manuals and procedures, HKA also performed irrigation pressure test and coverage test, daily inspection reports, material submittal review, quantity estimates for monthly progress payments, and construction punch-lists.
